The quilt 'Filmstrip', designed by myself, features a dynamic black-and-white comic motif that captures the essence of classic film strips. I drew inspiration from the traditional film medium, highlighting its historical significance in an era of increasing digitalization.

Each panel of the quilt is meticulously machine-sewn, resembling the sequential frames of a filmstrip. The comic scenes depicted in the quilt add a playful and nostalgic element, featuring bold outlines and expressive characters typical of comic art.

The quilt reflects a deep appreciation for the art of filmmaking and serves as a tribute to the disappearing physical film medium. Its monochromatic palette emphasizes the timeless nature of black-and-white cinema, while the comic imagery offers a modern twist.
